The Blue Couch with a Blank Wall
This is where it started...

It began years ago, before there were apps that helped you display your art in different settings. It was before responsive web pages, AI tools and DALL-E. I had found a furniture showroom image of a couch that I liked, an image I could also manipulate to display my art. I contacted the manufacturer for permission to use their photo, but they were not interested.
Still thinking the idea was good, I decided I would illustrate a couch. And so, the Blue Couch was born. I have used the Blue Couch illustration many times and began to feel the composite art created by combining my art has led to me creating several poster designs that I now refer to as 'embedded art'.
